Sunjay Shankar Named as GMC’s New Director of Business Development

(Houston, TX) Gulf Marine Contractors (GMC), a leading on-demand marine agency and logistics provider to the offshore energy industry, is proud to announce the appointment of Sunjay Shankar as the company's Director of Business Development.

With over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Shankar will continue to drive business forward at GMC through the cultivation of close relationships with regional business partners and international operators.

Shankar has an illustrious career in the oil and gas industry, having held senior sales and management positions with Shank Oil Tools, ODS International, Master Rig, HS Ocean Group, and CANRIG.

Shankar graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and holds a master's degree in Business Administration. In addition, he has also sat on the Board of Directors for the Houston Chapter of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
